Welcome. I’m Steve Sweren, and Cardboard Dynamite has grown out of my passion for the sports card hobby. I have almost 40 years of experience buying, selling, and trading cards.
It all started in 1981 when I was a little guy – I remember opening packs of Topps baseball cards and sorting them by the hat colors. Through the late ‘80s, I spent every dime I earned on cards when packs were plentiful and print runs for cards were astronomical. My first job as a kid was working in my friend’s father’s card shop where I was “paid” in store credit. After a few years out of the hobby, I stumbled on a new website called eBay while at college in the mid-‘90s and I was hooked back in. For many years, I have been a top-rated eBay Power Seller. A few years ago, I decided to take my hobby to the next level and form the business Cardboard Dynamite. I specialize in helping collectors find rare and valuable cards. I enjoy buying collections and breaking them up to connect buyers with the specific cards they seek. The cornerstone of my business is integrity.
